John McIvor

John is currently Chief Executive of NHS Lincolnshire, a post he has held for the past three years.  He has been a Chief Executive for nearly 14 years, with over 10 years previously in South Yorkshire at both Doncaster Health Authority and Rotherham PCT.

John has a particular expertise and interest in health inequalities; resource allocation; and partnership working.


John has held other senior management positions at regional health authorities, acute hospitals and community services organisations. He began his career in the NHS in 1979 as a Podiatrist.
